General Booking Information:

Check-in/Out: check-In Time 4 P.M., check-out time 11 A.M.
Guests must register and check in/out at front desk.

Deposit: a deposit of two nights is required to book the unit; when you check in, a credit card is taken to pre-authorize the rest of your stay and this also allows you to charge items to the room such as Castaways Restaurant.  You pay the balance when you check out, as is customary at most hotels.

Cancellation: cancellations must be received 3 days prior to arrival to avoid forfeiture of deposit. Please note that any change in your reservation may change the rate and/or require additional payment.
Deposit of 2 nights required per room.

Minimum Stay: five nights if booked through owner.  

Maximum Occupancy: four.

Rates:  rates are set by the agent and may vary daily which is why we cannot pre-publish the rates.  However, they generally vary between $260 to $460+ per day plus tax and facilities fee depending on the time of year.  Christmas is the highest rate of the year and is always sold out. January and February are high season. Please note the owner may offer a 10% discount off room rates for stays in excess of seven days. All rates include maid service.

Facilities Fee: daily facility fee USD $25.00 per night plus tax will apply.  Includes parking, free beach towels at front desk and use of all common area facilities.

Taxes: tax @ 14.4166% total includes General Excise Tax and Transient Occupancy Tax.

What You Need to Know before Making a Booking Request:
For you to book the owner’s unit, the owner generally must take your information (contact information and credit card) and then the owner places the reservation directly with the agent.  Your reservation is not confirmed until your deposit is processed and you receive a confirmation notice via e-mail directly from the agent. 30 days’ notice is required to book; 90 days’ notice for Christmas.  Sorry, there are no exceptions to this policy.

First, check the availability calendar to see if your dates are available.  PLEASE NOTE THE CALENDAR SHOWS ONLY OWNER-MADE RESERVATIONS AND IS NOT THE AGENT’S CALENDAR.  THE UNIT IS BOOKED 90+% MOST OF THE TIME BY THE AGENT.

Next, request a custom quote from contact@mauikaapalivillas.net on our CONTACT page. Be sure to specify the number in your party and the exact check-in and check-out dates you desire.  We need the specific dates to provide a custom quote. Generally, you will hear back from the owner within 24 hours. If you are ready to book, contact the owner as soon as possible via e-mail.  All reservations are first come first served and no reservations will be held without a two-day deposit.
